Greenery é a cor do ano 2017, diz a Pantone, a guru da Moda e design em matéria de cores. E se ao início torci o nariz a este verde musgo misturado com amarelo (até a descrição soa mal!), depois de uma breve investigação no território Pinterest sou capaz de me ter convertido. O meu coração continua a bater forte pelo Rosa Quartz, mas Emilio Pucci e Michael Kors mostraram nas suas passerelles de Verão de 2017 como o Greenery pode fazer parte do guarda-roupa sem parecermos o Shrek, além de que na Beleza e Lifestyle também há (coisas bonitas), mas são verdes. • “Sabemos o tipo de mundo que vivemos, que é muito stressante e muito tenso”, disse Leatrice Eiseman, diretora executiva do Pantone Color Institute. “O Greenery é a cor da esperança e da nossa ligação com a natureza. Remete ao que chamamos de palavras ‘re’: regenerar, refrescar, revitalizar, renovar. A cada Primavera entramos em um novo ciclo. É algo como olhar para a frente”.

Greenery is the official color for 2017, says Pantone, guru of Fashion and design when it comes to color. And if at first I was not convinced with this moss green mixed with yellow (even the description sounds bad!), after investigation the Pinterest territory, I might have changed my mind. My heart still beats strong for Rose Quartz, but Emilio Pucci and Michael Kors Summer 2017 runways showed us how Greenery can be part of our closets  without having us look like Shrek. Plus, there are pretty Beauty and Lifestyle things, but green. Find out what I mean with the gallery above!

And you want to know what’s the best part about Greenery? It’s meaning:

“We know the world we live in. It’s very stressful and tense”, says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of Pantone Color Institute. “Greenery is the color of hope and also represents our connection wih nature. It reminds us of something we call the ‘re’ words: regenerate, refresh, revitalize, renew. In each Spring we find a new cycle. It’s something to look ahead to”.
