Às vezes tudo o que precisamos para ser uma estrela de Hollywood é… de um elástico básico para cabelo? Um daqueles que usamos para ir ao ginásio ou lavar a cara à noite? Aqueles que emprestamos a uma amiga e nunca mais vemos? Aqueles que compramos um pack de 10 a 50 cêntimos? Como assim?

Yep, leram bem. Um elástico e umas mãos mais ou menos habilidosas. É isso mesmo e reuni as fotografias certas para vos provar que com um pouco de imaginação e engenho a passadeira vermelha (e a dose certa de laca) é o limite. Cinco aparições célebres onde o elástico de cabelo serviu de prato principal.

Tudo isto porque Jennifer Lopez (alguém me diz o segredo desta mulher para estar melhor a cada ano? e a marca do iluminador, please?) apareceu nos People’s Choice Awards há uns dias com um rabo-de-cavalo que escondia uma surpresa muito especial. Adivinharam, um singelo elástico que de repente deu por si nas listas de artigos mais vistos da web. Parecia que o mundo nunca tinha visto um elástico de cabelo… Mas entendo: nem todos os dias temos à mão de semear o mesmo acessório que a A-list.
Agora só falta a conta bancária. 🙂

Sometimes, all we need to be a Hollywood star is… a basic hair tie? One of those that we use to go to the gym or wash our face at night? One of those that we borrow our friend and never see again? One of those that we buy in a 10 to 50 cent pack? How come?

Yep, you read it. A hair tie and two handy hands. That’s right and I put together the right photos to prove to you that with a little bit of imagination and ingeniousness the red carpert (and the right dose of hairspray) is the limit. Five looks where the hair tie was the main course.

All this because Jennifer Lopez (can somebody tell me her secret to looking better each year? and the brand of her highlighter, please?) graced the People’s Choice Awards red carpet with a ponytail that was hiding a very special surprise. You guessed it, a humble hair tie, that just like that became the most read news on the web. It looked like the world had never seen a hair tie… But I get it: it’s not everyday that we have in our hand the same accessory that an A-list has.

Now all we need is the banck account. 🙂
