Micro-trend: cabelo rapado

Não precisa ser uma grande especialista em Moda para saber que parte do que faz uma grande modelo é… a personalidade. Não vou mentir: uma carinha laroca ajuda e um corpo bonito também ajudam embora – felizmente – os padrões de beleza já admitam todas as formas e feitios.
Mas se assim fosse haveria muito mais supermodelos, certo?

Só alguns ascendem ao top. E parte passa por um je ne sais quoi que lhes transfere uma aura de estrela que simplesmente não conseguimos passar ao lado. Depois de ter estado frente a frente com algumas das modelos mais conhecidas do globo só posso confirmar.

Bom, mas de volta ao assunto, parte da personalidade é também imagem (ou pode ser).

E que forma mais óbvia de a demonstrarmos do que através do cabelo? Parece que uma ‘nova’ onda de modelos pôs este mote em andamento: tendência, extravagância, rebeldia ou carácter (ou uma mistura dos quatro), não sei a que posso atribuí-lo, mas desde que Eve Salvail fez ‘frente’ a um exército de supermodelos de cabelos ‘Pantene’ nos anos 90 com a sua cabeça rapada (e tatuagem de dragão) que não via tantos escalpes au naturel.

Que é muito cool (e que é preciso um grande par de… tesouras) lá isso é!
E o tempo que poupam estas meninas de manhã?

You don’t need to be a big Fashion expert to know that what makes a great model is… personality. I’m not going to lie: a cute face and an amazing body always help, although thankfully, the classic Beauty ideals now enclose all shapes and figures. But if that was all it took, then there would be a lot more supermodels, right?

Only a few get a spot at the top and part of that is having a je ne sais quoi that gives them a special superstar aura that you just can’t ignore (after being face to face with some of the worlds top supermodels I can only confirm how true this is).

Back to the subject! Part of what makes a great personality is also your looks (or can be) – and what better way to say who you are than through your hair? It looks like a new “wave” of models are making this their motto: if it’s trend, extravagance, just being a rebel or character (or a mix of the four), I can’t really tell, but I haven’t seen so many au naturel scalps since Eve Salvail went head to head with the “Pantene” supermodels of the 90’s with her shaved head (and dragon tattoo). But one thing I’m sure of is that this is a really cool trend (and that you need a really big pair of… scissors). Can you imagine the time these girls save in the morning?
